North Pole Open Water @Monday, August 21, 2000 - 09:39:17 - tu I was listening to the BBC the other night (6.175 Canadian? feed). They had this freaky story on the North pole having a large area of open water. Global Warming?? Crazy scary stuff. Open water on BBC peeing @Saturday, August 19, 2000 - 20:55:57 - tu I never thought peeing would feel so good. I had a great time a this party. I was walking home only a few miles. Of course all this walking makes the beer want to exit. I made it here to work which is about halfway home. I have never felt such relief, not even in a dream nothing feels so good a good pee and an empty bladder. oh yeah @Friday, August 18, 2000 - 17:39:44 - tu I had this update kicking around a good part of the afternoon. Did I mention its free? Go Al Go @Friday, August 18, 2000 - 08:35:56 - tu Gore probably gave his best speech ever. I think he hit every key point. Its kinda funny I think he will do better if he feels he is the underdog. I heard last night GW people don't want to do the debate thing. I think the convention did a great job of energizing democrats and the country. To bad the republicans are up to their same old dirty tricks, leaking stories on Clinton again. I doubt anyone cares, and its ironic that Bush people condemned the leak, they dont want to be burned on it. Stewie @Thursday, August 17, 2000 - 22:32 - tu

Does anyone know where I can d/l the gore video by Spike Jonz? I saw only bits a pieces of it, it was a great look at Gore. Did anyone else see The Rock walking around the convention? I thought Leiberman gave a great speech, his wife aswell. I enjoyed the 2 jokes and the comparsion between the state of texas and the country. The trickledown ecomonics equals a bird eating the oats after the horse was done with it, it was a riot. I think that Leiberman is religous is really fustrating Republicans. If Bush used that much religion in a speech, people be complaining he was from the religous right. Tommy Lee Jones did a wonderful job describing his college roommate Al Gore. Al Gore's daughter gave a indepth look at what a wonderful father she has. I was surprised to hear her talking about abortion rights. I read somewhere her sister is a comedy writer for Futurama. Over and over people were saying it's not a popularity contest or a beauty pagent people should decide on issues not personality. The convention was more for energizing the party, I think it already has accomplished that. I am very intrested in what Gore has to say tonight. I think the debates are going to be a key issue. I just don't see Bush be up to the challenge. You can add a channel to your PDA just about AL Gore and the 2000 election. Al Gore 2000 Avantgo Channel. Cspan pointing out they are the only ones offering full coverage. Even PBS skipped and overlapped some coverage. X-Box Info @Monday, August 7, 2000 - 14:21:17 - tu Married Guy sent me this cool story.... Several excited Xbox-related Web sites report that the Xbox Software Development Kit (SDK), which went out to developers this month, reveals previously unknown details about the machine. Chief among them is a replacement for the Windows user interface (UI)--dubbed the Xbox Dashboard--that offers a friendlier face to a "stripped" Windows 2000 OS. The Xbox will ship with support for both NTSC and PAL video formats so that it can be used in any locale. Support for the Moving Pictures Experts Group (MPEG) format is also included. As for hardware, the Xbox will ship with both 56K modem and Ethernet connectivity, hardware-accelerated DVD playback, and more. The digital dashboard (which essentially provides a UI when no game is running) will interface with the DVD player for DVD and CD playback and offer access to features such as system configuration utilities, connectivity utilities, and saved game management. Game controllers connect to the system using standard USB ports, opening up the market for third-party developers to develop gaming devices as well as keyboard and mouse controllers. The Xbox game format is not compatible with Windows-based applications, although its games are developed similarly using familiar tools. Microsoft Direct3D will be the primary graphics API, as it is for traditional desktop-based versions of Windows. But Xbox will not use DirectShow for streaming media, instead incorporating proprietary technology that takes better advantage of the underlying hardware. Microsoft expects to ship the Xbox in late 2001. A leter for my Ex-Wife @Monday, August 7, 2000 - 08:49:30 - tu Leter Here. You would think after 3 years I would feel like my family is safe.
