C&C in 3D
Jan 4, 2000 9:38pm email@example.com
Ever since I started playing C&C I thought how cool it would be if they could do a 3-D version like at the end of C&C1. Well finally Westwood got around to doing it. Here is an expanded story on it. Command & Conquer - Renegade

On a scary note its been reported Tawian has the ok to test an anti-missile system. I am sure that wont go over to well in Bejjing. The US sold the Tawianese 200 enhanced Patriot missiles a while back. I guess we know what we can to lose sleep over now the Soviet Union is history.
China is also in the news for a recent rash of UFO sightings. It seems it isn't just us crazy Americans seeing things and getting abducted. Story Here.
Super CD out. DVD Audio still on the way
Jan 4, 2000 9:44pm email@example.com
Now that the hackers have broken the DVD-Video Standard, it seems the companys pushing the DVD-Audio have decided to hold off releasing the gear and re-code the encryption so that it will be more secure. I don't know why they didn't in the first place. I was at Tweeters the other day, they had about 40-50 Super CDs on a shelf in the corner. Of course there was no Super CD players to play them in the store. Super CD / DVD Audio Story
Oops Y2K keeps the spys out of business
Jan 4, 2000 9:44pm firstname.lastname@example.org
It seems a rather large Y2k bug cropped up on a US Spy satellite. They lost contact/control of it for several hours. I wonder how much other black ops stuff had y2k stuff we will never hear about. Interesting story talks about a location near Washington DC "Area 58" that processes alot of the images taken by the KH-11 and others.

|Jan 1, 1999 2:05pm firstname.lastname@example.org
I have been playing Quake 3 online after getting it as a christmas present from my brother. I am looking for some Local servers, or servers that aren't that many hops away from my location. My ISP lease a T1 from cw.net bordercore2.Boston.cw.net this server I found in chicago is 12 hops away around 280-360 MS Ping time. hoth.penguinpowered.com they list the stats of the players its kinda cool.

There wasn't much going on last night luckily. I guess alot of people (like my Mom) were actually working and checking everything during the night. Nothing to report here sat around with some friends and watched a bunch of DVDs. Its gonna take awhile to get used to this 2000 stuff. I am just s glad the Wackos didn't come out the woods blowing up or shooting people. A nuclear plant in Japan had a problem with some monitoring equipment Story Here.

paced and action packed a Q3 game can be.

|Gores confusion on Creationism and Evolution|
|Jan 5, 2000 11:45pm firstname.lastname@example.org
I was watching the debate tonight. Gore did it again, the earlier debate he screwed up as far as I could tell he said evolution when he meant creationism. So tonight in the debate he said what he meant last time.
01/05/00 I haven't found a source yet on this one, but this is pretty much what was said tonight. Al Gore asked about his religious views and alienating other religions. He said Creationism has no place being taught in school I believe there should be a strong separation of church and state.
12/18/99 Al Gore again in a debate directly quoted
"And I think that carries with it not only an obligation to respect the
Constitution. For example, I think the Constitution forbids the teaching
of evolution in schools, unless - except in religion class, not in science

|DVD Coporate Multinationals on the Rampage....|
Don't mess with the
Multinationals. So your a hacker 16 not in the US,
I guess your not immune to the long arm of law. Jon Johansen
did, 16-year-old Norwegian boy had his house raided and was detained.
He just happens to be one to the hackers involved in decoding the Flawed 40
bit DVD encryption scheme. Story Here
The norwegian hacker Johansen (and two others) called themselves:
MoRE (Masters of Reverse Engineering)
The key is 5 bytes long and MoRE got more than 170 working keys.
Each DVD has 400 copies of the same unique decryption key, each encrypted
with every unlock code. From what I've read reverse engineering something isn't
considered illegal in the U.S.

the Palm Civet a 4 to 11 pound cat like creature similar to a raccoon. As
little as 500 Lbs of the Kopi Luwak coffee bean is available per year and
roast Kopi Luwak sells for over $175.00 a lbs. It is imported into the U.S.
by M.P. Mountanos Inc. but the bulk of the Kopi Luwak coffee is bought by
the Japanese. here is a quote on the taste.
"It's the best coffee I've ever tasted. It's really good, heavy with a caramel
taste, heavy body. It smells musty and junglelike green, but it roasts up real nice."
