I am a good player on an ok machine with a poor internet connection. I get killed and my score averages somewhere in the middle most of the time on the level scores. Scores don't really match up very well in WFA, its based on the Q3 source code, they can't do much until Id releases more info on it. I have been considering a second line and modem, shotgunning two 56k modems, my ping time and downloads would improve greatly, I don't need a T1 connection, and I am sure that would not be a good thing for me. I play, I have fun, I would like to not screw up something for my team and have the most flag captures. The craziest thing is how wound up my brain gets thinking of a dozen plus things during game. That doesn't count 2 of their earlier CDs I have that I don't care for asmuch. I can remember picking up my first 2 XTC cds at a the Unversity of Maine in a used CD rack. I consider them my favorite band, I enjoy the music, and I really love the lyrics in the song. I was so excited to see them put out Apple Venus then Wasp Star. I played the assassin first time for an extend period of time. Very cool, snuck up on 2 players and knifed em dead. very good for scouting too. Flew around as recon too, very cool stuff. I played arial bomber and blasted a bunch of people and even a sentry gun. I like to look for holes in my team and fill them. I pretty much suck as a cyborg, I dunno more practice I guess. I did a great job defending the flag as a marine and flamer. Didn't play the nurse even once tonight. The teams had other holes that need filing. The last server I played on was I-Sucks owned by tumorhead. 24.218.76.107 port 27960. I played 3 maps I haven't played yet in the new 2.0 version. I hate snipers, and I suck as a sniper, but then I have seen some sucky snipers. I love the servers with 14-or 15 on each side, especially when they go into overtime. Nothing pisses me off more than a team of weenies who won't stay and defend the flag.

My folks live about a half hour north, they could get up the six inches. The is crazy stuff. My computer has been acting wacky, I removed and reinstalled communications. That fixed a problem I was having with my TCP/IP Dailup. I turned off the machine and turned it back on. The machine was doing the memory count and stopped at 640k. Damn, Damn, Damn. I took out and reset the 2 168 dimm chips. No joy, so I swapped out one chip then the other in the memory slots. It worked!!!! So one of my 64 meg chips is DOA, I think it is still under warranty I think I have only hadit for like 6 months or so. I wonder if quake it playable on 64? Update I unplugged everything both chips are now work, possibly a flakey motherboard? I really do hate this piece of crap FIC/VIA AT Motherboard. ATX next time, probably Asus / Athlon/Duron. I still think its the human realtionships that heinlein portrays that really drive his stories. I have only read one of his books I would consider a poor read. They would read to me and my brother, my dad would read to us in the morning while waiting for the bus in our old blue van. I remember a few teachers doing that my fifth grade teacher, very old school, read to us sung around the piano, its funny what I can remember from being a kid. All of a sudden I realize this vechile was only a couple feet away from me trying to go down this side street. I played the Quake 3 mod Weapons Factory Arena this weekend. I played the darn thing for like 9-10 hours. There are multiple classes of players. Marine, Flamer, Cyborg, Nurse, Engineer etc.. I had alot of fun infecting and burning my enemies, with the nurse and the flamer. The marine has this very cool Hyperblaster, the cannoneer has a kickbutt chaingun/cannon. This mod is for the capture the flag (CTF) type game. You really need like 12-16 peo ple to play a decent game. I was playing on the barrysworld server yesterday. I am really bored of hearing about some lady that has to pick up cans and drives a winabaygo. I am really glad the other guy cried with some family in a natural disater. Did he invite him home? no. Did the other guy pick up can with the poor lady? I thought Bush's jokes seemed canned. What are fuzy numbers? I thought it was pretty funny when Jim said I think you could both go on about this for three or four more nights Gore jumped in and addlibbed I'm willing to do that. Even Jim Lehrer cracked up on that. That was about the only unscripted thing all night. On serious stuff, these guys have very differant ideas on several issues. I can't imagine someone not having decided on those issues. Heinlein @Tuesday, October 3, 2000 - 16:20:20 - tu Just finished Stranger in a Strangeland last night (around 1:30 uggh). It was a very strange book, alot more out their than many of Heinliens other books. It must be the 8 or 9th of his I have read. I enjoy his books for the sci fi aspect but also the human interaction. Real people in extrodinary situations. They are not heavy reading and thats not always a bad thing something light and quick to read. I really enjoyed the collection of short stories in a couple different books. I only have one more of his books left unread. I shall have to hit the used book stores Whole bunch of Heinlein books I don't have.
