Nothing like getting away from these beasties. Lets see I dug a ditch, and cut up
a tree with a chainsaw today. I finished my book Friday by Heinlein, that book I
have been trying to read for 2-3 months. I finished it in 2 days. I am trying to
get the folks scanner to work. Damn, HP, they don't have drivers just install software.
25 megs of it. The old 33.6 connection just wasn't made for that kind of bandwidth.
I saw someone I recognized, I guess you could say it was the only girl I ever went
out on a date with. I never per say went on dates with my ex or my wife. My wife
and I just started seeing each other. We went like 3-4 weeks of seeing each other
all the time. I don't really wanna check my e-mail but I guess I will have to sometime.

The people who got shot down in South America were classmates of someone who I know and who were good people trying to bring the good news of the gospel. Now from personal experience they alerted everyone on their flight plan and they were still shot down. Killing people in the process. Now, the issue with the Phillipines kidnapping has been going on for more than 20 yrs or even longer. The only reason why the U.S. is aware of this now is because tourists have been getting kidnapped lately.
Missionaries on the other hand know when they leave the U.S. they are aware of the risks they take. So the question is not why don't they stay home? The question should be why does man kill missionaries who are trying to spread the gospel?
This will be my only say on this.

I haven't talk about this stuff much and I won't later. I oppose the Death Penality as a general idea. I believe McViegh did this horrible crime. This guy wants to die, he will become a martyr. Just like Koresh was to him, he will be to the next Uni-bomber or high school shooter. To kill him will make his mission complete. Thats why I don't think he should be killed. I don't think he should be able to communicate with the outside world and harass the victims. I still think there is a Joe Doe free wether because of the FBI's sloppiness or some kind of conspiracy. Being an atheist, death is just an end. Nothing to worry about afterwards. Its a natural part of life Rotting in prison all my life would sounds worse to me. They say McViegh is an Agnostic. Would it not be better to let him worry about what his God might do to him for the rest of his life. I am sure in his mind his God will still punish him wether he is in his 20s or his 70s.

My wife and I were at wally's world last night and they announced free ear piercing for buying the earrings. So she asked me and I said sure. Its funny I got my ear pierced before at the same store on her recommendation 5 years ago before we started dating. Anyway that top hole is near the spot I had done 5 years ago. I guess it takes forever for holes up there to heal. The lady put in the bottom one first. I think she should have done the top one first because the bottom one hurt like a bad bee sting but the top one caused twice as much pain. All that cartilage and stuff. After that we went to the movies and saw Evolution. It was great, we saw it in the new theater and the screen was huge. We both really enjoyed it and it was pretty funny. That's our second time to see a movie on its premiere opening night in a month. |

Did the whole weight lifting thing again tonight. It's been about a week.
I really do enjoy it but you get in that lazyboy mode. I of course couldn't
lift nearly as much as I could a week ago. The scary thing is that we
had a digital camera so there might be some rather unflattering pictures soon.

Yeah I know I do this sometime. I update the page look a bit.
I end up getting sick of it in a few days. I am pretty happy
with this look. Watched Charlies Angels tonight, what a silly
little movie. I liked it I guess but I felt like I was watching
fluff and I guess I feel a little guilty for enjoying fluff.

I didn't think we were going to have a game today because of the weather.
When I got up it looked pretty good and I checked the weather again.
So I called a bunch of the guys and most of them wanted to play.
Then around 1pm it started raining. The rain stopped around 2 when we were
starting to playing. I am pretty sure we had 8-9 guys out there playing.
It was wild, we had this new field to play in. Sort of a woods game meets
speedball field. Playing in the woods with bunkers is great. You think you
are safe until somebody out flanks you. I got nailed twice by someone on my
side instead of from the front. The field was soaking wet and lots of bugs
but it wasn't raining and we had alot of fun. It seems like every game it
get more intense and more paint gets splattered. We played capture the flag
combined with 3 hit kills. I got to use a 12oz tank and it was alot of fun.
I have that 20 oz tank on order and it should be alot of fun. No pictures
this time, I didn't feel getting my camera all wet. I put a little too much
oil in my gun it fired like a black powder rifle. It was so bad I couldn't
see where my balls were going but, it did clear up later. There was this one
time my tank stopped working and I couldn't figuire out what was wrong.
The tank had come loose slightly and I just tightened it up and I was back
in the game. No cool bruises to show, I did get a few hits that show up.
I took a gut shot and a nasty hit on my elbow that is a nice bump. The
worst part was the cleanup. Seems that crawling around in a swamp gets
you all dirty. I might have to wash my paintball clothes a second time.

Nothing like ending a work week by playing weapons factory
for 5 hours strait with no interuptions. I played mostly on the chicago server. It was very stable I only got hung up maybe 4-5 times. The last level I played I of course was the engineer. It don't try to spam the enemy but I do use my share of magno grenades. If they don't like it they can try to kill me first, then my sentry, then get the flag. Score was 9 to 3 (We won!!) The game before I played engineer and the score was only 1 to 0. I dunno what was going on mid field but it must have been a frag fest. I miss not seeing the head in the score screen. I have to goto the choose a new class to see if the team is filled out properly. No idea what kind of team the other side has. |

Cool. It looks like we will have another Paintball game on sunday.
That means this will be my third weekend in a row I have been able to play.
I seem to shoot less paint each game. In the first three games I went through one cartridge thats like 10 shots a game. The other games I did shoot a bit
more paint than that. Its just in the woods I would rather wait for a better
shot than fire 5 rounds and have them all miss. I guess its just me being cheap.
