This hase been a little pet project I have
been working off and on for a couple weeks.

The idea being, take an older machine and use it to play
DVDs and MP3s. Hooked it up to the Stereo System and network
it back to the primary machine.
Pentium 100mhz, Old AT Case, Socket 7 Intel Motherboard.
40 Mb Ram, Windows 98, 6x CD-Rom, 2x DVD Rom with DVD
decoder card, ISA Soundcard, ISA Network card, 33.6k USR/Gateway
PNP Voice Modem.
DVD Decoder card has S-video and RCA Video Out.
Soundcard and DVD audio out to Stereo.
The DVD card CT7160 from creative has crappy drivers.
I am using the Luxsonor
OEM Drivers. They work fine. There are programs out
there to open the country region codes so you can play
DVDs from Europe and Asia etc... |

Spent the afternoon gaming. Played a whole lotta Urban Ops.
I got to use
the 40mm Grenade launcher alot. 4 guys 4 machines too much fun.
We played
co-op and oposing. We even did only pistol etc.. It only took
us like 40
minutes to get it all setup. We shouldn't play the 747 level
again we have
it memorized. Looks like we are going to see crouching tiger
tonight too.

Hey its friday it doesn't matter. I know its bad when I wake
up my brother on the west coast.
I got a chane to talk to him for 30-35 minutes with Dialpad
It was a real solid connection I guess everyone is asleep.
Just finished up a evening of WFA, what a whacky game my teams
kept on losing but for some
reason I was ok with that. I turned down textures and went back
vertexed? found a special setting in my TNT2 openGL drivers
seems to have speeded it up. In WFA I love it when a an enemy
cyborg screws up a defuse and it flattens like 6-7 people. I
played Cybog for 2 or 3 matches and I kicked butt. I found just
stopping around a corner and unloading all my sentry killers
then going in with the medium plasma bomb does the trick. It
helps that the other team doesn't have a cyborg on defense.
I suppose I should grab something to eat and goto bed.

I played some Weapons Factory tonight with Keyboard. Fun Fun

but I has a hell of a learning curve. I found a copy of Wipeout
3 at the local store for
only 10 bucks. heck an Audio CD costs 15-17 bucks. Its a great
game with more
great music. The cool thing is they are actual CD audio files.

5.5 and Netscape 4.76. The page is a few KB bigger.
