It's All about the filtering. This is like a 60+ frame clip in Divx 4.12 no sound.
I just want to show what kind of quality you can get with the stuff I have been playing with.
The end file was 22 minutes long and was a whopping 139 megs with 112kbps mp3 audio.

All the Friends episodes I've been encoding lately have been between 650 and 850kbps (depending on how many I want to fit on one CD, usually 4 or 5).
22 minute episodes are 130-160MB.
Trouble is, because I'm taking them from DVD, they're interlaced :(
