UN chief cautions against Iraq strike
O'Reilly interviewing Micheal Moore

From PI on the 20th
William Scott Ritter was a guest on the show and was a former UN inspector in Iraq.
They were talking about how to treat the Prisoners from Afghanistan.

Scott: And let me say something right here.
After September 11th, when we went after Afghanistan, we didn't do it as a police action.
We didn't call these guys criminals.
We did it in a military fashion.
Look at the initial briefings.

Bill: You're right.

We militarized the Taliban.
We went against the 55th brigade of Al Qaeda, recognizing that they were integrated with the Taliban.
We militarized it.
We treated them as if they were warriors in a conflict.
Therefore, we have an obligation, once we take them prisoners, to treat them as prisoners of war.

[ Applause ]

If we didn't want to, we should have called them criminals and arrested them.
