12/30/2002 Archived Entry: "Fun"
As much fun as 2002 was I am thinking 2003 is going to be a fucking wild ride. Republicans will
control the Congress and the White house. They will replace at least one Justice this summer.
They just have to remember in 2004 if things aren't any better it all rests on their heads.
Maybe some Enron people may goto jail. Hopefully those 5 young men the FBI are looking
for are just illegal aliens and don't plan to crash, blowup or spray any New Years celebrations.
All this Iraq stuff and Korea stuff will keep things fun. I am sure if the North Koreans haven't
gotten our attention enough yet they will try something new and whacky.
Nobody seems to be bringing up the fact we never really did get a chance to beat the
North Koreans(and Chinese/Russians). Hopefully we won't signal something dumb like we
did to Sadam in 1990 and have them playing across the 38th Parallel.

There're accusations flying around that those 5 guys came through Canada. This makes me think of the last time Americans whined about Canada's lax border control. The thing America misses here is: us Canadians DON'T CARE, if the terrorists are going to America then obviously they aren't going to bomb Canada. America's buggered us at every opportunity for the last 15 years so if terrorists make a stop here on their way to the States why would we care?
