Firefight near mosque in southern Iraq kills 3 U.S. soldiers and 10 Iraqis
US combat deaths pass 100
Three US military police officers and at least two Iraqi police
officers were killed when they clashed with supporters of a Shia
cleric in the holy Iraqi city of Karbala.
These aren't Saddam's (Sunni Triangle) Followers, but Shiites/Shia the other 60% of Iraq.

Senate Defies Bush On Iraq Assistance
The Senate passed a bill turning half of the $20.3 billion into a Loan.
Eight Republicans voted for this included both Olympia Snowe, and Susan Collins of Maine.
