I have been on this CPU Cooling Temperature thing lately. The whole case modding thing.
I want to have a nice airflow in my case to keep the temperature resonable.
So I have one fan in the front blowing in air, I have to two side panel fans
blowing in air and then the Power supply and the 80mm fan beside is it sucking
the out the hot CPU air. It's probably fine but I to tweak it the best I can.Cpu temps w/ Athlon xp 2000+
40-50C seem to be the average CPU Temp.
I think I am getting around that right now.

That's not necessarily a good place to be, since you wind up sucking in dust through
all the cracks, crevices and removable disk drives.

than entering the case (intakes). The idea behind this is that there will be less hot

I did install the UV Lazer LED in my new case and some UV sensitive cable wraps.
The wraps don't seem too UV sensitive and I ended up moving the light tube

So my new machine came in last night. I spent 4+ hours working on it. I only screwed up
one thing. Its kinda ridiculous, a very newbie thing to do, I blame it on poor lighting and
being tired. So what did I do? I installed the HD cable upside down. It might not sound
to bad, but I actually pushed the pin out the back of the hard drive connector.
I've install dozens of hard drives and cables and I have never ever done this. So a little
soldering in the morning fixed one of the drives. The second drive I was using ended up
being DOA, nasty deskstar problems. I have a replacement and I didn't loose any data
on my primary. Some rules to build by.
0. Backup Everything before you do any upgrade.
If you have 30 gigs of data, take the time and backup the 45+ CDRs
1. Take out the tabs in the case for PCI cards before putting in the motherboard.
If you scratch the shiny new MB you will be very sad.
2. Don't build a machine when your extremely tired.
Going to bed a 2AM the night before might be a bad idea.
3. Take a break every couple of hours.
Gee, sitting on the floor for 3 hours with moving is so much fun.
4. Work in an area with lots of lights, lots and lots.
Its got to go in this way even if I can't quite see.
5. Don't think boy these new cables are tight and push them in.
Doh
6. It's not normal that drive has formatted only 3 percent in 50 minutes.
7. Have a working machine nearby to look up stuff online.
8. Have the phone number of someone who builds a PC a week nearby.
Better yet have them help you and provide beer afterwards.
9. Have a friend with years of soldering experience.

The BLU 97 -- a canister containing 202 bomblets, each the size of a soda can

The bomblets scatter over a large area about the size of two football fields,
