I have read and heard about how careful US forces are about not targeting civilians.
I really do believe that, but I cringe at the idea of the use of Cluster Bombs near populated areas.

A United Nations official here said a ninth person had died after a village near the
western Afghan city of Herat was hit by a cluster bomb dropped by a United States jet.
