11/18/2001 Entry: "Leonids"

Well I got up for the Leonids shower this morning around 3:30am EST
I brought a folding chair and my HI 8mm camcorder. I got 35 meteorites
on film, 3 or 4 of them were quite spectacular. I am sure I saw three
times as many. I saw one come strait down? it looks like a star and
it was in the sky for a long time, but it was 3-4 brighter than Vega.
I am in the process of trying to S-video them out to my ATI All in
Wonder Pro card. I also saw two satellites and one very bizarre
satellite or possibly the ISS. The pictures/videos etc will be on-line shortly.
