some reason I didn't get mine until now. I was driving Pete around and we

I've been trying to reach the Rank of Corporal in the Battlefield 2 game. It takes forever
and then some to get that rank. Now that I have it I'm cutting back on my insane gametime.
The game allows you to unlock a weapon that isn't normally available in game. My first unlock
was the M95 sniper rifle. I don't play sniper that much but the MEC/Chinese rifles blow.
So I chose carefully this time, and picked the engineers shotgun. The orginal MEC one is
this great Saiga AK shotgun. The Chinese and American have these horrible pump shotguns
that are really slow to fire and chamber rounds. Enter in the Jackhammer, an evil bullpup
full-auto monster from hell. That thing goes through a magazine in like 2-3 seconds.
It has no range (thats what grenades are for) but it just rocks upclose.

BF2 1.03 Patch info came out yesterday.Towards the end of August, we will be releasing a new patch called 1.03. This patch is currently underway and will undergo thorough testing to avoid the problems that have occurred in the past. To make sure you're up to date until then; make sure you have installed the latest upcoming 1.02 update, which you can download here.
Here are just a few of the fixes you can expect to see in the 1.03 patch:
* Server and Client performance improvements.
* Improved Server Browser – added Favorites and History Lists.
* Point-farming prevention - game will stop Support/Medic/Engineer point farming exploits.
* Squads - locked squad leader will get a message if someone wants to join.
* Many HUD improvements - see the names of others in your vehicle, zoom level changing depending on vehicle, map zoom depending on map setup (16, 32 or 64 player map) etc.
* Teamkilling changes – the logic of how teamkills are tracked will be changed.
* Gameplay tweaks - the way transport helicopters work will be tweaked.
* Additional scoring changes - players who destroy an enemy commander's assets will be given points.
There are over 140 fixes and improvements in the 1.03 patch and we're looking forward to everyone moving to 1.03 to get the best Battlefield 2 experience on a level, cheat-free playing field.

I was having a very off night tonight in BF2. I had this horrible switch teams and kill the
new teammate incident (who had just killed me) and was kicked. Then I had a full car
load of teammates go over my mines. I just had to leave that server it was so bad.
The last game I played I was flying a helicopter with this other guy. I joined his squad
and we flew together. Turns out we both mics and talked a bit, he is British and he is playing
from Japan, talk about your small world. He of course unlocked the L85 British Medic gun.
We had a great time and he for some reason was impressed with my chopper flying abilities.
I only killed us once, but we got shot down 3 or 4 times. We capped a few flags and he gunned
down lots of badguys.

I have been thinking about something extra for my Battlefield Game. I've heard of people
using foot pedals from racing games with their games. I don't own one or even like foot pedals.
I do however have a few Dance Dance Revolution Pads. I can get a Playstation to USB converter
and use the pad in game for crouching, going prone, or standing up. The converters are like
10 bucks, but the racing pedals are like 25-100 bucks. It's worth a try.

I'm still not sick of playing Battlefield 2. I don't think I'm ever going to advance to corporal.
I did get the Ground Defense Badge and Ribbon. I stayed on this one anti-tank launcher for
most of a game. It's funny this guy was hidding behind a propane tank. Not the best choice
for cover, since in the game most barrels and tanks explode when you shoot them.

rewards and ranks that were gained by cheating and have notified the account holders.
If you watch closely over the next several days, you will see many profiles with high

drastic actions taken.

boring and other are some of the most intense games I've ever played. My last game of the

I was able to put a more than a few hours with my awesome new connection.
I even got a chance to try out the Barrett Bolt Action Sniper Rifle. At very close
ranges I was doing multiple one-shot-kills. Long range it's still a two shot kill gun.
